Hi! My name is Emily, or Em for short :) I am a photographer and stylist based in Miami but am originally part Dutch, part Belgian. I’m a fourth generation expat and spent most of my childhood in Asia, although my longest stay was in Stockholm, Sweden - a country that quickly became home to me. To my surprise, when I arrived in the US four years ago, it felt right to start putting down some roots and start building my brand, image, and portfolio at Istituto Marangoni!

I am deeply inspired by photographers such as Robbie Mcintosh, Jeurgen Teller, and Helmut Newton. Stylists that drive my inspiration include Lisa Lunqwister, Jimi Urquiaga, and Holly Suan Gray.

I am both inspired and fascinated by people and the mundane. I love glamorising the boring and finding the beauty in our mindless everyday activities. I believe life is worth living to the maximum and to the minimum. Every second counts.
